S&W’s Utility Line Crew Support Department consists of a skilled team that works hand-in-hand with utility line crews to ensure the efficient installation and maintenance of critical infrastructure. Our Crew Support Division is the backbone of S&W and is where our company started almost thirty years ago. From initial site preparation to final restoration our support services play an essential role in the success of utility line projects, emphasizing safety, precision, efficiency, and teamwork.

Equipment Provisioning & Logistics

Equipment Provisioning and Logistics S&W owns a robust fleet of heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, flatbed trucks, and lowboys. Designed to tackle the needs of any project. S&W's logistics team coordinates the seamless movement of materials, equipment, and personnel to and through dynamic project sites. Which usually span miles and miles.

Storm Response & Restoration

S&W is often called upon during major storm response efforts to support utilities in restoring service to their customers. Our Crew Support Division leads these efforts in conjunction with support from all other divisions in our company.

Mat Access Roads

A large part of our activities consist of building access roads with mats. These mats are placed to build a stable surface for travel and construction operations, sometimes in spans of over a thousand yards. This is a proven method to access remote locations and protect environmentally sensitive areas.
